Corporate social responsibility is a way of describing how companies try to measure and control their impact on society. This includes a company’s contributions — both negative and positive — to the economy, environment, and greater community. In other words, it’s a corporate approach to ensuring a company does the right thing more often than not.

CSR is beneficial in two ways:

Improves a company’s brand image

When customers see evidence of responsibility, they tend to respond positively in kind.

Improvee employee morale

Morale tends to be higher at businesses that invest into ethical and social behavior.

The Outreach Program has found that people like to roll up their sleeves and do something practical to make the world a better place. The wonderful part is that while you are feeding people locally, you are also transforming villages globally by providing food and education to the most vulnerable children in Tanzania as a way for them to break the cycle of poverty and hunger.

For $1.98/day, you can feed a family of six!

You provide the location. We set up assembly lines at your location for volunteers to engage in the process of packaging the dry ingredients of one, or more, of our seven meal varieties. An assembly line is made by putting two 8’ tables end to end, then placing all of the necessary ingredients, equipment and supplies on top to make the meals. Then we place 10-12 volunteers around each line that assemble, and box, the meals all in one lean-manufacturing process. During the packing event there is festive music playing, a bit of friendly competition between assembly lines, and a set goal of packaging a certain amount of meals.

A meal packaging event is a perfect way to engage your employees and their families and your clients, in a fun, team-building activity that creates immediate social impact. The food packaged is then donated to the local community food banks of your choice or we can find one for you.

Employee Rewards Program

An employee who feels valued is more engaged, productive and likely to stay with your company. The Outreach Program can help you create a culture of caring, compassion and friendly competition as you engage your employees for good.

Our Employee Rewards Program is designed to reward both behavior and outcomes as your company creates social impact.

As your company creates a robust Corporate Responsibility Plan to effect change, our Rewards Program incentivizes your employees with both tangible and intangible rewards and honors.

Tangible Rewards – We offer a variety of practical, yet meaningful, products. You can reward your employees with gifts from artisan crafts we purchase in direct trade from villages in Africa to custom-designed apparel and swag. These rewards fit nicely with an Employee Giving Campaign.

Intangible Rewards – Recognition awards may cost your company nothing, but produce powerful results with your employees in keeping them motivated and engaged.

We work with your company to enhance your culture by offering meaningful recognition awards. These awards can be given by their peers or their supervisors.

Partner Trips

A Partner Trip is a perfect opportunity to witness the impact of the time and effort that your employees have invested in making the world a better place. Your company can choose a domestic trip or an international trip.

Employees who are sent on a partner trip return to the company with broader knowledge of social issues, as well as the validation that their efforts are creating social impact. As they share their experience with others, they become your company’s ambassadors for your continued engagement.

The Outreach Program will work with your company to customize Partner Trips which are consistent with your Corporate Citizenship Giving Campaigns and Corporate Sponsorship level. These partner trips are documented with video, social media and a photo-journalism story that is made available both in digital and print format.
