Meal Packaging Events – The Outreach Program
Hosting a meal packaging event is a great way for your group or organization to enrich lives around the world. The meals you package can be donated to local food banks or homeless shelters, improving the lives of people in your community. Additionally, each meal packaging event helps us to provide food, water, and other life-sustaining resources to communities that have been devastated by war, natural disasters, or poverty in areas like Tanzania, Ukraine, and Israel.
Host a Meal Packaging Event
We strive to make our meal packaging events easy, fun, and exciting for your team of volunteers. When you schedule an event, you pick a location such as a church, local gymnasium, or community center We bring our equipment, supplies, and ingredients to your location for packaging by your team members and volunteers.
On the day of the event, we set up packaging lines at your location for volunteers to package the ingredients of one, or more, of our 10 meal varieties. Then we place 10–12 volunteers around each line to assemble and box the meals all in one lean manufacturing process.
During the packing event there is festive music playing, a bit of friendly competition between packaging lines, and a set goal of packaging meals.

DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Meal Packaging Kits
A large meal packaging event may not be ideal for everyone, and that’s OK! We have DIY Kits to introduce you and your group to the packaging experience and groups can package meals on their own time. We have several DIY kits that can accommodate between 10 and 100 volunteers. Kits come with all the necessary ingredients, packing supplies, packing equipment, and virtual training. We can even help you find an organizationwhere you can donate your completed meals.

If you are looking for a healthy, low-cost option for your local food bank or shelter, you can donate meals packaged in our certified food safe facility.
