Meal Varieties – The Outreach Program
Food without nutrition is an injustice. We work hard to develop meals that are not just tasty, they are also nutritious. All our meals are formulated in collaboration with Iowa State University’s Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition to provide shelf stable protein, essential nutrients and vitamins. We offer 10 different meal varieties to ensure that there are several tasty, nutritious options available. Each meal is easy to prepare, only requiring boiling water. Even our Macaroni and Cheese has the milk and butter added to the blend!
Rice & Bean
A delicious mix of rice, pinto beans, and dried vegetables including carrot, onion, tomato, celery, cabbage, and bell pepper.
Pasta with Tomato Basil Sauce
