Brass Bracelets

Varying in size and width, these are made from brass and hammer stampted with all different desgins. All are unique in patterns- no two alike! The brass bracelets turn brighter and more gold-like the more you wear them.

These brass bracelets are made and worn by the men of the Nkungi tribe. As tradition, these bracelets are worn once a boy becomes a man. A bracelet was gifted to Floyd Hammer by a warrior after he assisted the village with building a trench to get running water into their hospital. The bracelets were then made by several men to barter with to help feed the village.
