Kathy and Floyd Hammer met with (person) while in the United States who crafted flutes from wood. After speaking with him about the work they did in Tanzania, they had agreed to have him go over and teach the villagers how to carve these. His first trip they had carved the flutes, the second trip the instructor tuned and finished the wood. One of these flutes was sold to Rick Dunlap who created the CD Album, Umoja (Oneness).
