Help Install Clean Water Systems
Potable water is essential to a healthy, productive life. In underdeveloped countries, families must either travel long distances by foot to obtain clean water or risk contracting water-borne illnesses after consuming contaminated water.
Our WaterPoint Systems “Patent Pending” offer these communities a life-changing alternative. Each system is solar-powered, designed to be easily maintained, and features long-lasting, durable construction capable of providing enough clean water for up to 1,200 people a day.
Our team travels to Tanzania twice a year with volunteers to install our WaterPoint Systems “Patent Pending”. Our in-country staff then trains and supports local villages in how to operate and maintain their system. During these trips, we are blessed to be able to meet and build relationships with the people we are empowering.
Service Trip
Our Service Trips usually take place between January and April, or August to November. We try to aim for the Rainy Season in Tanzania. The weather is beautiful with lows in the mid 60’s and highs only reaching 85-90 degrees. We will take you to the village of Nkungi, where The Outreach Program got its start. While we are there, we will install WaterPoint Systems “Patent Pending”, spend time working with the Porta-Doc, work with the students at Gunda Secondary school to help improve their English Skills, and take local primary schools through WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) training.
You will visit our children’s centers and spend time with the 1,200 children that come through our doors every school day. After all of your hard work, we make sure to include a little bit of time to enjoy the wonders of Tanzania. We work with professional guides to take you on Safari to Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater where you will encounter the incredible wildlife of East Africa, as well as some of the most amazing vistas in the world.
