Floyd Hammer

Floyd is fondly referred to as the “head and heart” of the Outreach Program. Floyd has successfully founded many private and public companies including wholesale distribution, construction, retail, manufacturing, consulting, and recycling. His strong head for business led to Hammer Plastic Recycling, Inc. becoming a publicly traded company. 

Floyd and Kathy combined their skills on the trip to Tanzania in 2003 that was the catalyst to the Outreach Program. Floyd, with his construction background, helped remodel the hospital. Kathy put her knowledge to use volunteering at the hospital with mothers and children. 

Currently, Floyd is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of the Outreach Program. Kathy is the Secretary/Treasurer & co-founder. 

Floyd and Kathy received the prestigious United Nations Millennium Development Award in 2012. They were awarded the 5,000 Points of Light award by President Barack Obama and President George W. Bush in a White House ceremony in 2013.  In April of 2014, Floyd and Kathy were awarded the State of Iowa Volunteer Hall of Fame.

Kathy Hamilton

Kathy began her career in business focusing on manufacturing and distribution. Her career shifted when she formed Healthy Life Link, an organization to practice hypnotherapy and counseling. Kathy became a Certified HypnoBirthing Practitioner in 2000.

Kathy and Floyd combined their skills on the trip to Tanzania in 2003 that was the catalyst to the Outreach Program. Floyd, with his construction background, helped remodel the hospital. Kathy put her knowledge to use volunteering at the hospital with mothers and children.

Scott Hammer

Scott Hammer has been with the Outreach Program since 2017, previously serving as the Vice President of Operations. Scott brings with him a wealth of knowledge working in leadership positions focusing on business consultancy, powersports dealership management, manufacturing, and logistics.

Matt Hamilton

Matt Hamilton started volunteering during The Outreach Programs early days to do packaging events, load and unload containers, and sample Tanzanian Coffee. In 2009 Matt became a full-time member of The Outreach Team as Operations Manager. In 2022 Matt became the Chief Development Officer. During this time Matt has been involved with developing several meals with Iowa State Universities Food Science department as well as engaging thousands of volunteers to package millions of meals to help people in need.

When Matt isn’t involved with an Outreach Program Project he enjoys spending his time with family or hunting and fishing.  

Sarah Bradley

Sarah has served as the Vice President of Sales for the Outreach Program since 2018. Sarah became an ardent advocate for food security and the importance of clean water, medical care, and education.

Sarah is passionate about connecting people, growing sustainable practices, and creating a better future for the world’s most vulnerable populations. Sarah spearheads the Outreach Program’s Wholesale and Community Associate divisions. She empowers clients to be part of the solution to food insecurity through private label partnerships, meeting equipment needs for meal packaging events, and bulk ingredient supplies.

Isaac McNary

Isaac McNary began working full-time at the Outreach Program in 2018 and has been helping Outreach since 2012. Issac’s humanitarian work began in highschool on a trip to Nicaragua. Since then he has worked with the world’s most vulnerable in Central and South America, Africa, and the United States.

Issac has engaged hundreds of thousands of volunteers to package more than 50 million meals for food insecure people in the U.S. and abroad. He uses his talents as a visual storyteller to incorporate photography and videography into his work with the Outreach Program. These compelling visuals can be found throughout our site.

Isaac, his wife, and two children live in South-Central Kansas. He is a graduate of Manhattan Area Technical College.

Angie Fehrmann

Angie Fehrmann began her journey with the Outreach Program in August of 2011 as the Food Safety Compliance Coordinator. She then transitioned into a bookkeeping role and later served as the Finance Director. She played a central role in the creation of the Outreach Program’s Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures Manual for volunteer meal packaging events, which is still in use today.

Angie’s duties include day-to-day bookkeeping, inventory reconciliation, retirement plan reporting, payroll, Human Resources duties, assisting with month-end reports and annual independent audit reports and documentation.

Cate Lemke

Cate Lemke came to the Outreach Program in 2017. She is responsible for all shipping and logistics for domestic and international orders.  She coordinates incoming orders for warehouse fulfillment and monitors warehouse inventory. Cate came to The Outreach Program from the corporate sector because she felt a need to give back and a non- profit seemed to fit.  “I like my job because we all share the same vision and are dedicated to the mission of feeding those in need.” Cate initially worked in office management at The Outreach Program before transitioning to wholesale accounts and landing in logistics.

Chris Romero has worked in non-profit for over 20 years and has been in meal packaging for over eight years, partnering with Rotary clubs and groups all over the West Coast. A three-time AmeriCorps alum, he’s managed volunteer programs and non-profit events for a variety of great organizations including KaBOOM!, the YMCA and the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk. Chris has a passion for introducing students to volunteerism and bringing communities together around critical needs projects. Through different meal packaging programs, he has helped groups package and donate over 12 million meals to domestic and international feeding organizations.
